While it is listed as a romance, I have to say that the focus is on Heather finding herself after her career as a popstar and her solving the mystery in the novel. Romantic scenes definitely do happen but don’t expect an erotic suspense novel–so it is a cleaner read for young adults as well. While the character relationships flow throughout the series, each book has its own mystery that starts and is solved within the novel. Each book was very entertaining in terms of the mystery, plotline and the romance(s) so I never had a dull moment.īecause of the setup of this series, it definitely could have gone on forever but I’m glad it’s only 5 books long because I was tired of waiting for Cabot to finish writing them :P.

I loved the cast of characters that we get and the somewhat absurd situations Heather finds herself in. One is that I always had fun reading these books. I have to say that this series is probably my favourite adult series by Meg Cabot for a number of reasons. The Heather Wells Mysteries series was one a few of my other friends had read around the same time and enjoyed it so I decided to give it a shot (not like I really had a variety of options).
